Taxpayers to foot COAH bill in Wall
WALL TOWNSHIP — It is not a question of if residents here will be forced to pay higher taxes related to the township’s affordable housing obligation, but how much.

Calif. man rescued after hole in sand collapses over him
A Sunday afternoon at the beach turned into a terrifying experience for a California man who was briefly buried alive when the hole he had dug in the sand collapsed on top of him.
The Point Pleasant Beach Fire Department and Police Department responded to a call on Sunday at 1426 Ocean Ave., where a young man was buried in a hole roughly 7 feet deep.

State police locate boat believed to be involved in fatal crash
New Jersey State Police announced today that they may have located the boat involved in a fatal collision on the Metedeconk River in Brick Township yesterday.
One man was killed and four other people were injured early Sunday morning when the boat they were cruising on was struck by a larger vessel, which then fled the scene.
